Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Zen Cleaning Squad! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our cleaning services and website. By using our services and accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. These Terms may be updated at any time, so please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services

a. Zen Cleaning Squad provides professional cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The scope of the services, including pricing and scheduling, will be discussed and agreed upon with the client before the commencement of any work.

b. The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information about their property and any specific cleaning requirements.

c. We reserve the right to refuse service if, in our sole discretion, we find any situation that poses a risk to the safety or well-being of our cleaning staff.

2. Booking and Payment

a. To book our cleaning services, the client must provide accurate and up-to-date information through our booking channels. We accept Paypal, Zelle and major debit and credit cards. No cash or checks will be accepted. A hold on funds will be placed 24 hours before your scheduled service, your credit card will not be charged until service has been completed. Full payment is due on the day of your service. A credit card number must be kept on file with our office. Your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, on the day of your service.

b. b. The client may be required to provide payment details to secure a booking. A $50 charge will apply for cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24h notice.

3. Property Access

a. The client agrees to provide our cleaning staff with access to the property during the scheduled cleaning appointment.

b. In the event the client cannot be present during the cleaning, the client must provide access instructions and ensure a safe and secure environment for our cleaning team.

4. Customer Responsibilities

a. The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the property and its specific cleaning needs.

b. The client must ensure the property is free of any hazards that may pose risks to our cleaning staff.

c. The client should promptly communicate any changes, concerns, or complaints related to the cleaning services provided.

5. Liability and Insurance

a. While Zen Cleaning Squad takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and security of your property, but some accidents due occur; therefore we ask that if you have any irreplaceable, collectable, antiques, or expensive objects, we ask that those items be properly secured or put away in order to avoid accidents, or loss of those items.
b. Team members are required to notify the client of any accidental damage that occurs during each job. In the event the client notices any other loss/damage we are not aware of in the house, as a result of your cleaning service, the client must notify Zen Cleaning Squad within 24h after the service to be considered for reimbursement. Zen Cleaning Squad reserves the right to deny and provide reimbursement if the above conditions are not met satisfactorily.
c. Our cleaning staff is fully trained, vetted, and insured. In the event of any damages or accidents caused by our staff, Zen Cleaning Squad’s liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item or area.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

a. The client may cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment by providing sufficient notice. Any cancellations or changes with less than 24h notice will incur a $50 fee.

7. Feedback and Complaints
We welcome feedback from our clients regarding our services. If you have any complaints or concerns, please contact us promptly so we can address the issue. Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund but Zen Cleaning Squad will re-clean any area that did not meet your expectations. Simply let us know of any issues within 24h of your cleaning service and we will do our best to make it right.
A client will be covered under Satisfaction Guarantee for every service scheduled, subject to the exclusions below:
• your scheduled service does not violate our terms of service;
• you have reported the claim within 24 hours of the service; and
• your account is in good standing with no outstanding balances owed to the Zen Cleaning Squad
Our Satisfaction Guarantee does not cover the following:
• losses arising out of acts of nature, including, but not limited to, pollution, earthquakes and weather related events such as hurricanes and tornadoes;
• losses arising out of interruption of business, loss of market, loss of income and/or loss of use;
• losses for property damage and theft exceeding the original value and/or replacement value for such property, less any standard depreciation;
• losses arising from negligence of a client or third party;
• losses arising from a manufacturer’s or a product’s defects;
• losses from pre-existing damages or conditions of the item or property;
• losses arising from items supplied by the client or due to client recommendations (e.g., if a manufacturer recommends affixing furniture to a wall and a client declines to have furniture affixed, etc);
• losses arising from flooding and/or water damage including mold, fungi or bacteria;
• losses arising from products containing hazardous or harmful materials, acts of terrorism, product liability, or pollution;
• losses of cash, third party gift cards, and securities;
• losses as a result of theft of property in excess of USD $2,500 or any other intentional wrongful act;
• losses arising from normal wear and tear;
• losses for items that retain their functionality;
• losses based on sentimental and/or undocumented intangible value;
• losses related to repairs outside of the area where the cleaning services were performed;
• losses of pets, personal liability or damage to shared or common areas;
• losses of theft without a valid police report, if requested by the Company; and losses with insufficient documentation.

8. Service Disclaimer
Zen Cleaning Squad does not guarantee the removal of stains caused by hard water build-up or lack of maintenance.
We required to be informed of items or surfaces needing special care. We are not responsible for any damage if we are not informed and instructed previously if a surface required special care.
All areas of your home should be free of clutter.
Furniture on wood floors is assumed to have proper protection.
No heavy furniture is allowed to be moved by our team members.

9. Notice Disclaimer
We only clean windows that can be reached with a three step ladder.
Having other work done to your home while our staff is working may affect the rate and time needed to complete the cleaning. For the safety of our staff, no other jobs should be done while we are cleaning your space.

10. Referral Fee
From the moment a service is booked, a non-solicitation agreement is entered into by and between Zen Cleaning Squad and the customer, as condition for using our professional cleaning services. I understand that Zen Cleaning Squad has invested considerable time, money, training, and development of our team members and that under no circumstance will I knowingly engage in a direct, or indirect working relationship with any team member of Zen Cleaning Squad.
The customer understands and agrees to pay Zen Cleaning Squad a training and service referral fee of $2,500, if any breach of this non-solicitation agreement achieved, and the customer hires our team member with a year following the employee’s last day Zen Cleaning Squad.
Additionally, the team member also has a legally binding Non-Compete & Non-Interference Agreement with Zen Cleaning Squad that extends the arrangement to one year following the last day of employments with Zen Cleaning Squad.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Miami, Florida.

12. Modification of Terms

Zen Cleaning Squad reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use our services and website, you accept the modified terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By using our cleaning services and accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
